Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is ideal for a stop over and within easy reach of transport links into Europe or back to the UK. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the mattress was hard and old, leading to an awful night's sleep. The location is perfect, close to the terminal and motorways, but it can be noisy due to the busy main road. Dining offers reasonably priced meals and superb breakfast options. The service is friendly and helpful, with staff considering guests' needs in advance.
The hotel is conveniently located for accessing ferries and cross-channel trains to the UK. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although somewhat cramped for moving around. The service was accommodating and even allowed me to order from the snack menu at 5 am. The dining options, while with a delicious continental breakfast, were a bit pricey. The location is excellent, especially for travelers using the Eurotunnel, and the staff are pleasant and helpful.
The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms were on the smaller side and not impeccably clean, but not terribly dirty either. The staff were kind and helpful, available round the clock, though some issues seemed unresolved. The location was convenient for accessing shopping and the city center, but a bit tricky to find at first. Dining options were sufficient, but not outstanding. Overall, a mixed experience.
